iPad landscape mode menu not aligned

Bug Report – Windy App iPadOS

Device: iPad Pro 11” (2nd gen)
OS: iPadOS 26
App: Windy (latest version as of report date)

Issue

When opening Windy in landscape mode, the main menu is misaligned. It appears in the position where it would normally be in portrait mode, rather than adapting correctly to the landscape layout.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Open Windy on an iPad in landscape orientation.
2. Observe that the menu is shifted/misaligned (as if the app is still in portrait).
3. Rotating the device to portrait and back restores correct alignment.

Expected Behavior

The menu should align correctly immediately when the app is launched in landscape mode, without requiring any device rotation.

Impact
• Affects all iPad users in landscape orientation.
• Particularly inconvenient for users with a keyboard, since landscape is their default usage mode.
• Requires unnecessary device rotation to restore proper UI alignment.
