the hour by hours graphics on the rain/thunder loop is showing a mere fraction of this evidently plucked from air total.
I double checked the total accumulated graphic of the 06 ecmwf for 144 hours ( 1am 9-15) and that shows @ 0.10 for the location . Dropping back to the ecmwf 00 for the next 3 days to 222 or 1am 9-18 does appear to show total accumulated @ 2".

But all of this almost 2" of rain occurs during the 00 144 hours where the 06 is showing basically zilch. Apparently the rainfall totals shown under YOUR 06 run are in fact pulled from the 00 run.
