      Hello,
The big circle with no data appears to be centred on Sigonella Airfield, they had a civil radar installed there by Italian ENAV weather service some years ago.
The only data being shown is a tiny radar coverage mainly over the land around Catania airport itself. As you can see the Sigonella radar feed is one of the most useful for navigating the Sicilian coast & sea around the central mediterranean.

Valeria has also commented on this a week ago.

Apart from this issue, I was pretty sure till last month Windy used to show other radar feeds from the other islands to cover the central mediterranean. Is it a case the url of the service changed? Thanks

it is possible this post would have been better placed in the Bug Report - reproducible section?

Its possible that Sigonella has just upgraded its system, and a new url is in place? See this article, thanks

"Two years to get a new radar system for Sigonella Airport
          by Gioacchino Amato
The Enav Group has signed a contract with Teledife for the supply, installation and commissioning of the new radar at the air base"

To explain better, I will share this past image, it shows Windy reading data from 3 radars. A. B and C
Radar B has a limited range, and most of its sweep is over land. The important radars for storms coming from the south are A and C, with A (Sigonella) having a huge swept range. Both of these radars disappeared from Windy at the same time last month! This coincidence suggests that there might be an issue with Windy reading their data, rather than them both deciding to stop serving Windy at the same time. Thanks
