When you plane a route and want to scroll the timeline to the left, the left sidebar with the description of the rows get reduced in size. This works for long routes. For short distances the sidebar snaps right back, it's impossible to see the end of the route.

      Reproduce:

      • Click on "Distance & planning"
      • Move the cursor about 80nm away and set the second waypoint
      • On "Display route forecast for" select "Boat"
      • Try to move the timeline to the left.
      • After around 29nm the sidebar starts to minimize but comes right back, you are not able to see the end of the routing.

The bug occurs for distances between 60nm and 90nm.

      System: Android 15 (OxygenOS 15.0)
      Hardware: OnePlus 12
      Windy version:
      version: 46.1.0
      built: 2025-07-23, 10:24

(Thank you very much for this excellent app)

        @Lukas-Leppich
I’ve tried to replicate the bug on iPhone with the route length near 80NM.
You are right sometimes it is not possible to reach the end of the weather panel, sometimes it works for me. As shown in this screenshot:

        B459D9D8-D3E9-4A02-959A-E064476AA9FA.jpeg

If the route is about 120NM it works always correctly.

        Some additional tips:

        • You say: “Try to move the timeline to the left”. The timeline (black ribbon) in the mobile app allows to set the departure time.
        • You have to set the speed and toggle the speed button.
        • Then you have to tap on the weather panel to see the position of the boat on the route, to update the map and to show a small grey panel displaying time and route already sailed.

I’ll keep making more test to understand why sometimes it works and sometimes not.

        Developers should investigate.
