Another Meteoblue question (Windy in browser)
-
Hi folks,
Since a lot of Meteoblue question appear to be about the app, here is a simple one about the browser version. I'm also a Premium user.
For my location (NRW, Germany), Meteoblue beats all of the other forecasts hands down for rain forecasting. It makes ECMWF look as if it is reading tea leaves by comparison.
So, when I have selected a location from my favourites, I can then access the Meteoblue forecast by selecting it from the forecast comparison but I have to do this every single time I want to see the forecast.
Is there any chance this clicking around can be avoided?Update: I guess what I am saying is: if I can bookmark the URL and get Meteoblue and my location, why is Windy unable to give me this URL in the browser app? The information is literally right there in the URL but Windy offers no way of saving it in the app. That seems really odd to me.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi,
This is because the Meteoblue model is not available as a weather map.
In Windy, the first step is to select a model for displaying weather maps. You can then view detailed forecasts for a given location. Only then can you switch to MBLUE.
Note I’m not the UI designer of Windy :) -
@idefix37 Thanks moderator, your answer also helps me.
