When I simulate an ocean route with an immediate departure, the weather forecasts along the voyage display correctly. However, if I simulate a postponed departure - say by two days - the ship’s position still behaves as if it departed immediately when I hover over the forecast section (left and right) at the bottom of the screen.

As a result, for a voyage with a postponed departure, the ship’s positions do not align with the weather forecast at any given time or predicted position.

Is there a way to adjust/manipulate this so that the ship’s positions always match the corresponding weather forecast?

Your screenshot looks correct to me. The black timeline is only used to set the departure time.
The small gray panel is therefore not set to Saturday. It displays Monday and 48 h x 13 kt = 624 NM.

        Fair winds.
