I fish Lake Superior near Thunder Bay and have found the wave and swell forecast to be wrong. I believe 0 wave and 0 swell with 6 mph wind should be a good day for fishing in a 20' boat. Not the case. The large waves forced us off the water.
I question wether Windy actually provides real wave forecast or measurements for this area?
This is not the first time we've wasted time going fishing only to find the Windy app was wrong again.

In Windy there are 3 wave models. Did you check them all ?
They provide wave height forecast, not measurement.
