<![CDATA[Blocking Patterns]]>I am currently instructing a class and as we were highlighting blocking patterns at 500mb windy beat us to it and labeled it and as I moved the map it went away and we would love to know how to get it to do that again. Thanks!

You don't specify where you observed this Omega blocking pattern. I don't see it in the Northern Hemisphere. But the model has been updated in the meantime.
However, I see a Diffluent blocking, also called Rex blocking, over Europe.

I just finished clicking out of the weather picker.

As far as I know, Windy never displayed blocking pattern labels.
I guess you didn't take a screenshot. Can you tell us what the chosen parameters were?

Twice was an accident and the third time I don't know what i was doing but labels came up for the type of pattern I was over.

To get what ? To show the geopotential heights at 500 hPa ?
If you talk about blocking patterns like the Ω blocking or the Rex blocking also named diffluent blocking, Windy does not describe specifically these blocking patterns.
