Re: Thailand Sattahip radar out since 22/04/2025
Hello,
looks like our radar data has disappeared again. It does not even say "No Data" as it sometimes does, which makes me think we are "gone"?

@corsita Hello, unfortunately, there is a certain outage in this region.
-
@corsita The Pluak-Daeng Radar that was added to windy earlier is out of order and from I asked guys from TMD, will ages for it to come in service again.
Meanwhile, you can use the newly launched radar, the Suvarnabhumi Radar,
and the Rayong Radar which should cover all eastern part. Here are some links to them from the official TMD website
Suvarnabhumi Radar

Rayong Radar

Hope this helps!
@Suty please add these radars to Windy soon!

Hi @aznareus, than You for the info, adding to my TODO list
-
Dear @Filip_K,
Could you please prioritize this? I fully appreciate the constant challenge of maintaining the Thai radar network, which frequently requires dealing with new installations and the decommissioning of older units. However, the region's core industries—agriculture, tourism, and sea transport—rely on the Windy radar history and forecast as an essential tool for scheduling work and ensuring operational safety around rainfall.
Thank you,
Travis -
@aznareus Hello, I have additional info from my colleague and he is working on the Thai radar visualization right now. Thank you for your patience.
-
@Suty That is great news, thank you!
-
@corsita
I have same problem in Chanthaburi 😞.
I kindly but urgently request you to solve this problem. -
Thank you to take care of it, as long as the rayon radar covers the full extend.
