Have you checked in the menu that Particles animation is enabled ?
What device and what OS version do you use ?

Im having the same issue. Tried restarting the app, then reinstalling. Running a Samsung Galaxy A04e on Android 14.
Edit #2: Particles do not work on windy.com with brave or firefox browsers with this android device. PC works just fine.

Same here.... animation particles arrows are dull and only appear in patches

@Suty Same problem for me, I have premium subscription, particle animation is definitely enabled, it is running on an tablet with Android 9. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but no difference. On my phone which has android 10 the app is working fine with the wind arrows showing

@Double-o Hi, I will check the situation on our device, but it is possible that this is related to the version of Android.

After clearing the data, and clearing cache, uninstalling, restarting the phone and reinstalling I have some particles when zoomed in, but not for zoomed out viewing. Exactly the same is true for browsers.

Playing around with the width of the particles under settings allowed me to see them while zoomed out a little broader, but not when zoomed out far. See helpful settings below:

@mcejohnson So when you select Normal here, you can see particles only zoomed in, but not zoomed out, correct?

That is correct. I can see the particles when zoomed out a little further if I select high and increase their width. -
@Suty Mine is the same, can only see particles if zoomed in and size set to wide

@Double-o Hello, we are aware of certain issue with particles animation on Android and our colleagues already investigate it. Hopefully, there will be a fix soon.

Despite the particles animation being enabled it’s stopped working for wind. Using an iPad. Updated the ipad, deleted app and reinstalled but still no joy. Works ok on the web but not on the app. Any solutions ? Thank you.

On iPad it works with the browser version. With the mobile app, you need to wait til the next update. -
@idefix37 got the same update as another iPad and that one is working so don’t think it’s the update. Thank you anyway for replying.

That seem strange but may be possible. -
@idefix37 yep perfectly on my iPad but not on husbands. Odd indeed.
