Dialog box stuck on Distance & Planning screen

I noticed this on a friends ipad as well but when you have created a plan, a small dialog box appears with lat long etc but won’t dissapear when you x out. It just closes the plan. If you leave it, you can’t see the final part of your route. )

Are you talking about this box that you open when clicking on “More”?
To close it you need to click again on “More”, not on the small cross which close the Route planner.
