Route planner, weather on map doesn't correspond with weather ribbon
-
I do not seem to have the privileges to upload, but the code in the gpx-file is blow (as it doesn't display code properly, I changed < for [. If you change that back in Notepad and save it as gpx-file, hopefully it works).

Have you used this option ?

If you can't export a GPX, at least agree to plot a route from a point on the Irish coast to Newfoundland for a simple test.

-
I can export it, but I can not upload it here. The single great circle voyage from your example plots fine here as well. It is the voyage with 30+ waypoints that gives issues. Have you been able to convert above code into a gpx-file?
-
@Thialf-mate
Sorry I am not a developer with high computer skills.
Perhaps someone from the Windy team can help you by analyzing your GPX file. -
@Thialf-mate
Have you tried to display it here ?
-
@idefix37
You never explain that your route has 30+ waypoints. Your first screenshot shows only 2 waypoints WP1 and WP2 !
If we don’t see the totally of your route and planning, what can we say ? -
As I posted a link to my route, I thought it was obvious that it has 30+ waypoints. Anyway, here you go:
-
@Thialf-mate
I can only display your waypoints on the map because I can’t import directly your GPX route.
So I plotted a route along these waypoints
I stopped it at the Azores because your whole route at 6kt, is well beyond the weather forecast duration :
6kt x 24h x 10 days = 1440NM while your total route is more than 3500NM. It would need 24 days !
Up to the the Azores the Route planner works correctly.
-
Obviously it is past the forecast duration, but the problem occurs within the forecast duration. I don't remember from the past that long routes were a problem.
-
Good evening. Is there a developer who has been reading up on this?
