Hi, I am wondering what is the proccess of adding a new kite spot. Kite Beach in Nafpaktos is one of the most reliable and enjoyable kitesurfing locations in Greece. From April to October, the thermal wind blows with remarkable consistency, offering moderate, steady, and predominantly onshore conditions that are perfect for both beginners and progressing riders. The spot features shallow, mostly waist-deep water with light chop, creating a safe and forgiving environment for learning and practicing new skills.
Nafpaktos is a charming seaside town with a vibrant kitesurfing scene, supported by a local kite school and shop that offer lessons, rentals, and equipment services. The beach has an active and friendly community of riders, from beginners to advanced kiters, making the atmosphere both welcoming and motivating.
Kite Beach is also very van friendly, with easy beach access, plenty of parking space, and a relaxed setup that makes it ideal for kiters traveling and staying in their vans. After a good session, riders can unwind at the nearby beach cafés or enjoy the town’s picturesque harbor, traditional tavernas, and lively evening scene.
With its consistent onshore wind, safe waist-deep waters, and strong community spirit, Kite Beach Nafpaktos stands out as one of the best and most accessible kitesurfing destinations in western Greece. -
