Request: Lower Altitude Guage to 10 - 15 meters

Hello,
I live in a high-rise apartment and it gets so windy that all the windows and doors shake and rattle. I recently had a huge window break and its shocking how much more windy it is on the 12th floor than on the ground. However, when I used the Altitude bar to check the wind speed, the lowest altitude setting after surface wind speed was 100 meters. If that guage started at 10 to 15 meters, that would cover a lot of territory.

As storms and wind speeds are only getting stronger, people like me would love that info. I think these tall apartment buildings could start becoming a problem, and Windy could really be a big help.

Hi,
I don’t really understand what you mean. In fact the wind forecast at surface is not at your feet level. It is at 10 m high as said here.
And the same goes for wind observations at official weather stations.
Then weather models do not provide speed forecasts every 10m between 10m and 100m.
