      Hi, Might be a duplicate post but could not find anything the same or how if it already a feature...

      Is it possible to get a local model (not global) for Alerts, the best for me that windy alerts offer ECMWF, most of my 9km grid square is in the sea so in winter, the temperature does not go below 4c on the forecast. This means that snow turns to rain so any alert set for snow or minus temperatures is rendered useless. If I could use UKV for example, this is the best model for my location during the winter and usually has most temperatures and snowfall amount correct as my grid square is not in the sea.

      There most likely is a reason for this but thought I would ask.

      Many Thanks.

        Hi,
        If you want your grid points to be on land and not at sea, use the meteoblue model.
        This AI model is a consensus model providing very good temperature forecast on sea shore and in mountain.

          @idefix37

          I will give it a try! Have not looked at it when it has snowed so will rememeber to have a look when it next snows or have chilly weather.

          Thanks
