One thing i think the windy app absolutely needs: The possibility to download weather for a custom set area in the app. With the ability to choose what to download -- wind/waves/rain/thunder and so on.

And another thing that would be over the top amazing: route planning where you can choose different speed for different intervals of the trip.
From point 1 to point 2: 6 knots
From point 2 to point 3: 8 knots
From point 3 to point 4: 4 knots etc....
Every long distance sailor uses windy and this would be extremely helpful when planning a sailing passage
