Cannot set startup location

I set the startup location to my and then I exit the app and then I started again. And my city is not selected. It just shows a map with nothing selected.

I'm also seeing this issue (Windy v. 47.2.1 on Android 15). I go to Settings - Startup layer and location - Start-up location. The default setting is "Determine by my IP." Clicking on the drop down shows a pop-up tile with radio buttons next to the default setting, Use GPS, Use last location, and all of the locations that I've favorited. I'll choose one of my favorites and close settings. Next time I open the app it's asking me to turn on location services which indicates my choice wasn't saved. In the screenshot I've attached I had changed the Start-up location to Addison. Thanks for your assistance.
