Start up location

Hi, the app won’t let me change the start up location, I have changed it in the settings but it keeps changing back to the default setting.

Same problem. I changed to GPS and it changed back to IP.

The mobile App.
After the latest update today the home button don't works. A longer press shows the information that the location cannot
determined.

No, only "Sweet No error reported" -
@Suty It always goes back to this every time you log out, and it shouldn't. Many folks have VPN and determine by my IP does not work. this setting should go to where it was set right after log in. Every day I have to reset this and it's rather annoying because it used to stay where I set it.

I have the same issue. Even when I tap on "Find my position", I get a message "Failed to determine your location (...)". Permissions are granted and location in other apps work just fine.

@stepan1117 Could you please update the latest version of Windy.com if you use Android device?

@Suty Good morning, I use my laptop to look at Windy, my android screen is too small to study. Why does the browser version not work anymore, and at this rate I might as well stop paying for Windy as it used to save my start up position. And this morning it took my wind gust away from my side panel.

I have the same problem: The web-based app won't remember the Start Up location setting. Always goes back to "Determine by IP" which is always incorrect for my actual location. I've tried flushing cookies, clearing cache, etc. Since I can toggle other items like Lat & Long grid and those DO get remembered, I can only assume that this element isn't being captured for preservation on load/start-up.
