Picker should have a 1-second or 2-second option

I don’t dislike the picker; I wish I had more control over it, so I could engage with it and learn about it slowly on my own terms. In the meantime, it can be changed to a 3-second disappear, but due to fading animations there’s an extra second before it’s fully gone. This is distracting enough that I’m not necessarily able to complete the task I opened the app for. Would appreciate a 1-second or 2-second option. Thank you
