Satellite layer not loading in Colombia and northern South America

Satellite layer not loading in Colombia and northern South America 19 NOV 2025

Hi, I am experiencing an issue with the Satellite layer on Windy (web version on PC). The satellite imagery loads correctly for the USA, Central America, and the rest of the world, but Colombia and part of northern South America appear blank.

The map shows a sharp cutoff: everything beyond Colombia does not load on the Satellite layer.

I already tested:
• Chrome, Edge and Firefox
• Incognito mode
• Cleared browser cache
• Restarted PC
• Internet connection OK
• Other layers (clouds, rain, radar) work normally

Only the Satellite layer fails in that region.

My system:
• Windows 11
• Chrome (latest version)
• Location: Colombia

@JAIME-SOLANO Hello, it seems that radar data has an outage on the end of the provider. Do you know any source of data that can be used to provide this data on our end?
