      When I logged to my PC in today all my favorite locations were gone and a circle with a dot in in was displayed for a location I'm not interested in. What happened and what can I do to retrieve the lost locations? I note that all are still on my iPhone app.

        Have you checked that your Favorites are enabled (the small heart)?

          @idefix37 Thanks for the quick response. I'm located north of Norwood in this screenshot of radar imagery. That location used to be marked along with Norwood as a favorite. There was a pulsing circle around Telluride (not shown in the screenshot), a place I don't consider "favorite". Don't know how it got there and I can't remove it.

            @bobbiji
            This pulsing blue dot is supposed to show your current position based on GPS of your device. This blue dot is displayed when you tap “Find my position” at top of the menu.
            Concerning your Favorites you need to enable them in the menu.

              @idefix37 Thanks, for the help.

              My cell phone is with me in Norwood and so is my computer. It looks like the problem is with my PC and it started about two-three days ago. My iPhone shows the blue dot where it should (my home, now) and all the favorites are shown on the cell phone map.

              This is not the case with the PC (running W11). The blue dot is over Telluride, well to the SE of my home and no favorites are shown on the map as before. The list of favorites is available on the PC.

              Could a PC restart confuse your system?

                @bobbiji I just noticed that the blue dot has moved from Telluride to my home. Can you restore the favorites? if not, how do i get them back on the map from the list?

                  @bobbiji

                  As I already asked you, have you enabled your Favorites so they are displayed on your PC?

                  Can you restore the favorites?

                  I can't do it for you. I'm a Windy user and I don't have access to the back office!

                    @idefix37 Thanks for your persistent help, I'll give it a try. My computer updated and restarted without my permission so the thread was temporarily broken.

                      @bobbiji Voila!! It worked. Just didn't know the "trik". I'm 85 so while I know a lot of trix, missed that one. :) That blue dot really likes Telluride, went back there. Wonder why?

                        It's strange you have that blue dot on a PC. As far as I know, it is displayed on the mobile app and corresponds to your GPS location.

                        In the settings, could you check your starting location and choose your favorite?

                        2E428370-E16D-4FC8-8F1C-7DACF42078F4.jpeg

                        But no sure it works. On my Mac it remains stuck on “Determine by my IP” even if I choose a Favorite.
