Stop asking to turn on location

Version 47.2.1 on android 12.
As of recently the app asks me to turn on device location at startup. My startup location in settings is set to a specific location. I don't want to turn on my device location when I don't need to and I want the app to stop asking.
Of course occasionally I would like the weather at my location determined by my device location, when I choose to.
How do u disable the app from asking at startup?

I don't share my location with any app and there is no need to when I've already entered it in my settings (which I still find buggy).
