Report of Border Display Issue on Windy Website
-
Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to bring to your attention an anomaly observed on the Windy website regarding the cartographic representation of the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
At present, this border is displayed as a series of points rather than a continuous line, which may give the impression that it is not officially recognized. However, according to maps validated by the United Nations and international cartographic standards, this border is clearly established and should be represented as a continuous line.
It is important to emphasize that there is currently no dispute concerning the recognition of these border lines between the two countries, particularly in the Badakhshan region in northeastern Afghanistan. A correct representation is therefore essential to ensure the reliability and neutrality of your cartographic data.
I would be grateful if you could review and correct this issue so that your maps accurately reflect the borders recognized by the international community.
Thank you in advance for your attention and for the quality of the service you provide.
Sincerely,
-
@Fred-Leclerc Hello, do you mean this specific line, used as a border? We use this visualization for all borders in our apps.
