I am just curious about how long it takes to integrated a radar with its Data I am asking because imd has got serious first in their history
And plans to have add 50+ fully operational Doppler radar by June 2026 I saying can add that radar data before August 2026 in my state of Rajasthan which is a desert most of the year
Decides to go serious on severe weather like hailstorm, Supercell, multicell thunderstorm in between April and September for example this
Year on 12 April the strongest hailstorm hit my city of Nagaur but it couldn't show on windy properly because of the data from Jaipur weather all I am saying please integrated the new radar data before August 2026

Hi @Rs-Parjapati, I'm currently working on integrating data directly from IMD web, as data there seem to be both updated more often and from more radar sites (compared to our direct feed from IMD). Most of the sites have been already integrated and few more are coming in the followings weeks.

We also added a notification mechanism for when new radar site appears on said IMD web, so we should be immediately aware of new sites (hopefully shortening time to integrate them).

I would also like to mention, that integration of new radar data from IMD is unnecessarily complicated, as IMD uses multiple formats with a lot of clutter (borders, labels, grid, map background, ...).
Also communication with IMD is quite complicated, most of my attempts to get in touch with them went in vain...
