Massive errors in forecasts.

Sailing south after several days checking weather. Should 16 to 24 knots from NE.
Actual weather 2.9knts from the South. On engines. Seriously unhappy. -
Windy does not make its own forecast but visualizes those of several weather models.
Have you tried all weather models available in the area, not just the default one?
And furthermore, you don't specify exactly where you encountered this inaccurate forecast. -
I also find wave forecasts wildly inaccurate. Sailing east coast US. Never had an accurate wave forecast. Suggest using NOAA bouy data as an input

Have you tried the 3 waves models available in Windy for the US East Coast?
Buoys are useful but they don’t forecast wave conditions.
For your information there is a new plugin displaying the NOAA buoys data on Windy maps. Only in the browser version.
