Directions between locations as an overlay

Would be cool if you could overlay Google maps directions over the weather map to see where on your route you would encounter weather.

Windy already offers the Route Planner (Distance & planning feature).
Simply plot roughly your route - or import it in GPX format- on the Windy map, choose your departure time and date, and display your average speed to get a detailed weather forecast along your route.
