Show snow forecasted daily totals for precipitaton

It would be extremely useful to see a daily total for the forecasted snow/rain accumulation instead of 3-hour blocks. With these three hour blocks you have to add 8 together to understand what the full day will look like. Many users come here as an alternative to snow-forecast, but the tediousness of having to do math to see what the next week will look like prevents users from coming back. I'm speaking here about the forecast pane that pops up underneath the map, not the rain accumulation layer (which also doesnt serve the purpose to see a quick # for accumulation each day).

Hi,
By using the New Snow layer and setting the accumulation to 24h, you get the snowfall accumulation during this time frame. Then you can simply move the left handle to each day to obtain the expected daily amount.
