wrong location for cameras on windy app.
-
hello ... It appears that the Washington State DOT cameras are no longer showing up on the map in the proper location. The cameras now show up in Russia see attached image. Can this be repaired by Windy app staff please?

If the camera location appears wrong on the Windy map, it usually means the coordinates linked to that webcam are not accurate. This can happen when the webcam provider enters incorrect GPS data or when the camera was moved but not updated in the system.
You can fix it by following these steps:
- Open the webcam detail page and check if the coordinates look incorrect.
- If yes, click “Report issue” on the webcam window (or use the feedback option).
- Provide the correct location or a nearby landmark so the Windy team can adjust the pin.
- After submitting, the support/moderation team usually reviews and updates the location.
Windy itself does not manually reposition all webcams, so user reports help them correct these errors quickly.

@zivaclothing - yes that is fine (wrong coordinates) for an individual camera but these are all the cameras that the WA. DOT operates. I suspect it i something wrong on the Windy app side. The lat and long coordinates (on all cameras) are equal to each other.

Can someone tell me who is flooding the site with DOT cameras? Those are for monitoring traffic.
