      One of the many brilliant features of Windy is the ability to check distances when planning a route (we have sailed over 44,000 nautical miles, often using Windy to help plan our routes). However, having calculated the distance and closed the Distance summary at the bottom of the screen in a Chrome browser, when you go to measure from another starting point, Windy brings up to previous route, and the only way to clear this route (besides deleting each point one at a time), is to go to Menu, Distance & Planning.
      Would it not be more logical that when you close the route it clears it?

      Unless you can prove reincarnation is real, I'm going to assume I only have one life, and live every day as if it was my last.

        @plan
        This was designed precisely so that if you need to close the planning panel, you won't have to plot again the entire route point by point.
        So It’s a very good feature and it is definitively not a bug.
        If you are only using the Route planner to measure the distance between 2 points, I understand that it's not very useful for you.
