Correction Needed: Misrepresentation of Azerbaijani Territory
-
Hello,
I kindly request a correction to the map representation of the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
At the moment, this area is shown as if it were a separate “republic,” and the borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia appear blurred or inaccurate.According to internationally recognized documents and UN Security Council Resolutions 822, 853, 874, and 884, as well as the current legal status, Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The self-proclaimed entity previously located in this region has not been recognized by any UN member state and has been dissolved.
I kindly ask you to update the map to reflect the internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan:
-
Display the entire Nagorno-Karabakh region as part of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
-
Remove any indication that this area is a separate entity.
-
Update and correctly apply the official names of the cities and towns, including Khankendi, Shusha, and others.
-
Clearly mark the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia according to internationally recognized boundaries.
Thank you for your attention, and I request that the map be updated accordingly.
