It's great! For us birders (birdwatchers) raw NEXRAD data would be useful as it picks up on bird movements.

Thanks for making a great wind forecast website!

@oliverb Hello, no need to do that ! NOAA already publishes all their NEXRAD data for free on super reliable service -
Amazon S3 (it's where we download the data too). If you can do a bit of shell scripting, then definitely start by reading this article to learn how to download the data. On the bottom of the article there are great tutorials, but the most helpful (at least for me when I was starting with this) was this one. Also, in order to process/view NEXRAD data, NOAA's tools will definitely come in handy. You can find libraries for python as well. Feel free to ask for more details. Have fun !

Great feature, I think the scale should be labeled with rain intensity, not dbz, because most people didn't know what dbz means

            Greetings from Tomber

@ivo Love the new radar, great work! Only suggestion would be an optional analog clock, it took me a while to realize how much time was elapsing as it ran.

Nice addition but I much prefer the wind model.

If it works out, how about adding radar for the Yucatan Peninsula and surrounding waters? ;) Kidding. (not kidding!)
Thank you for all the great graphic info we use down here!!

It's good for me. I love your software, hurricane tracking with winds is accurate. I have a weather station & wind speed is accurate to what your software is posing. Thank you again.

I would like to see a realtime feature that pulls in real time cam feeds from various sources. For example if you youtube Key West Live you can see various cams off the island, to be able to see fully what the wind speeds shown look like in reality.

I would also like to see wind speeds from the center outwards in MPH both realtime and projected. As far as tracking Irma this week windy.com has been accurate but it's been hard to explain to others what Category of a Category 5 storm would they experience base off where they are going to ride out the storm. I heard one meteorologist explain something along the lines that Hurricane Irma if you were 70 miles away from the eye you would experience it as a Tropical storm. I just found this interesting page http://www.hurricanescience.org/science/science/hurricanestructure/ .
