windy station not showing up on map.
-
i have for the longest time been sending data to windy through CWOP via cumulusmx however due to personal reasons ive decided to send my cumulusmx data straight to windy and discontinue sending data to cwop.
seems like windy is in fact seeing my pws station data and it shows up in my favorites bar.one problem my new station is not showing up on the map.
maybe its due to my old midas data (thats no longer transmitting) being in the same spot but yeah wondering if someone could shead some light on this or fix it.ID: 3f0ad31f8
Station ID: 3
Latitude: 49.80446625844873°
Longitude: -97.20811486244203°
Elevation: 236 mUpdate: when looking at my new pws station it does say. "this is a duplicate station: AW798"which im assuming is my old Midas/CWOP station.
i guess my next question would be how do i fix that or when will AW798 go away.thanks,

@brennan-harrison Hello, I forwarded this to colleague to get further info for you. Thank you for your patience.

@brennan-harrison Okay, I have an update for you. Your data is used on our end and your station should be visible on the map as well in a few days.

Earlier today my new PWS Station (EW0370) was showing up on the map but now it is no longer there. What happened?
ID: omdpCfy
I also don't even see where I can add my station back. -
Hello @cfrank01 . It seems that we have not received any data from your station. We updated our system two days ago, so this may be on our side. Could you please check the responses to your update requests? This would help us identify where the problem is. You can also send me the API key you are using, privately via DM, not here on the forum, and I will investigate further.
Anyway, I can strongly recommend using API v2 (https://stations.windy.com/api-reference), as API v1 is no longer supported. That may solve the issue for you.

@cfrank01 I am not familiar with code.gs, and it does not appear to be an official Windy implementation, so unfortunately I am not able to help with it directly.
I recommend contacting the author of code.gs and asking them to update the script to the new API specification described here: https://stations.windy.com/api-reference
As a temporary workaround, you may continue using the previous API. However, please note that I cannot recommend this approach, as the legacy API will be shut down at the end of 2026.
