Pricing, what currency is it and why is it so expensive

I have been using Windy for a couple of years if I go away camping in the weekend and like to figure out where I go the week before. I thought I would go for premium for some better accuracy but I'm genuinely shocked at the pricing. I'm in NZ and trying to figure out if it's 62nzd or 62 USD a year. Either way I'm gob smacked why it's so dear. What are most people using it for to justify a price like that? Especially if that's USD. I'd use it once a month if that I was thinking it would be like $20 or something to just own it. They need to add an option to pay a couple of dollars for a week's access or something.

Thanks I had to change my phone to desktop mode. I'd love to know why it's so expensive and is this USD. What are people using it for predominantly to justify the cost? I only camp in the 3 months of summer but I do like to know where its dry at that time. Is it for business owners that reply on weather for work or something? A weekly option would be handy for the casual user like me
