Without an internet connection, Windy can't be used. However, there are world devices which can accept 160 character text messages anywhere in the world. Would it be possible to some how have the ability to send a series of text messages containing data, which when combined could provide the data for which windy could use to operate?

@split This sounds too complicated. Windy is based on http and we are not going to change it. We are considering other things for situations without internet connection - some manual downloading or precaching of the forecast data. But even with this feature, you will need internet connection to download the data.
