In the southern hemisphere the lines of the sun and moon position should point towards the equator imo. They point towards Antarctica.</p>

I assumed that the satellite layer is currently a mix of radar and various recording techniques from space, i.e., via satellite, and that this data is therefore also available.</p>

What you show on your screenshot is the Satellite layer not the Radar layer.<br />
The color scale of the Satellite layer (from infrared sensor) can’t show a precipitation scale.</p>

There is something else that needs to be optimized.  As you can see in the image,  the bottom display (Layer Radar) shows the satellite temperature  cloud surface rather than the amount of precipitation!  That doesn't make sense. It would be more useful to show the amount of precipitation in a table.<br />
