Daily weather/precip summary needed

Windy should have an option to display weather and precip accumulation in larger time chunks - maybe 6 AM to 6 PM (day) and 6 PM to 6 AM (night), like OpenSnow does. This would make it useful for easily assessing how much rain or snow is coming over the course of a day or night without busting out the calculator or fiddling with the precip maps and the time slider.

This is available in Windy. You just need to use Rain accumulation and New snow layers.
Then you can set the time frame that you want. -

I think this is the aforementioned "fiddling with the precip maps and the time slider." Check out the interface of the OpenSnow or Snow-Forecast.com apps. They summarize upcoming forecast snow totals for larger chunks of time (e.g. night, day) in a useful way that Windy does not.
