I am not using a mobile phone
-
Hello there,
I use a laptop for visual reasons. I do not use my mobile phone to go on the web.The Windy app thinks I am on a mobile device and with this new update, all of what I call "the dashboards" are covering a very large portion of my screen, including the words "Download App" which is now just at my viewing area. With such a large viewing area being blocked by these features, I am not able to see much where I am located and it's surrounding area. When the top dashboard disappears, which I have set at 3 seconds, it comes right back on when I click the screen to zoom out or look at another location. When I click the X to close it, it does not matter, it still comes back on regardless, blocking a large portion of the screen.
Windy seems to strive to be the best out there, but it seems to focus on cell phone users. Any ideas other than shrinking my screen would be helpful. I have the resolution set at 100% which is normal. I usually have to use the size around 120% and higher for my vision problems depending on what I am looking at such as YouTube or my search engine.
Thanks,
Trae -
@Chickasaw Hello, you are talking about the mobile version of Windy.com, but you also mentioned that you use laptop. Can you please provide a screenshot of what you exactly see ?

@Suty Hi there,
I went into Windy just now to check the temperatures here and it seems to be back to normal. I do not know how to send a screenshot from the laptop but if you want to see it I will attempt to go online to find out how to screenshot on a laptop. Thank you for your response.Even the "download app" is gone which traditionally was at the top with the Windy logo.

@Suty I forgot to mention that I do not use the mobile to go online but my image on my laptop appeared to be a mobile version because it said " download app" all the time. It is now gone.

@Chickasaw Okay can you please specify this device a bit? Is it standard desktop, laptop or any kind of hybrid device (tablet with additional keyboard)?
-
@Suty It is an HP laptop. Using Windows 8.1.
-
@Chickasaw Strange. Okay, please let us know, if the issue appears again.

@Suty Okay. Thank you for responding so quickly. I appreciate you.
