new user: how are alerts working

Welcome to Windy! I see that you want to get alerts for Metamorphosis to know if the forecast has: Any snow between 20cm - 500cm, Rain 10mm-100mm, Temperature (-60)-60c and if the wind is between 3-12bft. The issue is that Windy treats these conditions as one, so for the alert to trigger, you would have to have all of the weather conditions on the forecast - which the chances are very low.
Instead, create 4 separator Alerts with each one having only one condition; Like
-
First Alert: New Snow 20cm-500cm
-
Second Alert: Rainfall 10mm-100mm
-
Third Alert: Temperature (-60)-60c
-
Fourth Alert: Wind 3-12bft

Non premium users can save only 3 favorites. -

These are not Favorites. A Favorite is a location.
They are the Alerts you set for these 2 Favorites.
The blue bells show that the Alert has been triggered, meaning the conditions you specified are predicted by the ECMWF model for the coming hours/days.
