What's the point?

What's the point of having a feedback community if you are not going to listen to your subscribers and users? A plethora of individuals are verbally frustrated and annoyed with the new overlay, and your most dedicated response to the problem is that there is "no plan to remove it"? Seriously? If you are not going to take our feedback serious, and there is no plan to remove something so unnecessary and elementary, then there is no point in using Windy anymore.
Good luck to the Windy team moving forward, because I am sure I am one of many users who have canceled their subscription. You certainly shot yourselves in the foot on this one!
As a side note, you should also add a pro-rated refund option for yearly users who find themselves completely unsatisfied with your product.

I agree with everything you said. So many “updates” are really “one step forward, two (or more) steps back. Not just on this site, but on almost all others. Is this because everyone, everywhere is embracing the mysterious and nebulous “abilities” of AI?
