It is not something new. With Satellite and Radar layers, isobars and particles animation are  automatically disabled.<br />
This is because Satellite and Radar are <strong>observations</strong> while isobars and particles animation are <strong>forecasts</strong> by a weather model. Forecasts are not 100% reliable and error can occur.</p>
<p dir="auto">Regarding New snow wording, replacing it by Snow accumulation, might suggest that it refers to the accumulation of snow on ground. This not the case because the snow depth is not equal to snowfall amounts because it naturally compacts and melts. So New snow is the future snowfalls.</p>
