What's weong with the radar data off the western central coast of Italy?

It is weeks now that off the western coast of central Italy (Latium, Tuscany, Campania) there is a large area showing a "no data" pattern for radar. This is really problematic, since this area is really near Rome and it dosn't allow to se the coming weather.

This is not new, even if it is the first time for you.
“No data” means that the data provider has stopped supplying the data.

IT: "È in fase di esecuzione un complesso progetto di ammodernamento della rete radar meteorologica nazionale nell'ambito dell’Investimento PNRR M2C4I1.1 “Realizzazione di un sistema avanzato e integrato di monitoraggio e previsione” che si concluderà a giugno del 2026. In questo arco temporale, le misure degli apparati radar progressivamente oggetto di intervento non saranno disponibili. In alcune aree del territorio italiano la capacità osservativa risulterà conseguentemente ridotta fino alla conclusione delle attività. "
EN: "A complex project to modernize the national weather radar network is being carried out as part of the PNRR Investment M2C4I1.1 "Implementation of an advanced and integrated monitoring and forecasting system" which will end in June 2026. In this time frame, the measurements of the radar equipment progressively subject to intervention will not be available.
