<p dir="auto">Extending the “pseudo-forecast” is often request by users. But it is simply the extrapolation of the last image of the satellite or radar loop, in the direction of the same stream. So it is not a true forecast. You can imagine specially in convective conditions that its accuracy is likely to be low.<br />
Since you regularly observe satellite images on Windy, you have surely a relevant opinion on this matter.</p>

<p dir="auto">No, clouds are not visible at night. To see them during the night you can select “infra” (infrared) which show clouds using infrared sensors.<br />
Note that “blue” is mixing the visible spectrum and the infrared spectrum. So it displays clouds at night too even if during the night cloud rendering is not so bright. You are very demanding.</p>

<p dir="auto">You show the Satellite layer and in this layer the temperature is the brightness temperature of the cloud tops showing the altitude of these cloud tops. If you want to see the rain rate, you should select the Radar layer.</p>
