Garmin Windy Watch Screen meanings
-
I’m trying to work out what the blue wave means that appears below the temperature in the 5 day forecast view. I’ve searched the internet high and low, but can’t find anything other than an infographic for how to read the radar screen. Can anyone shed some light? I took a screenshot of an image with the wave I’m referring to, but the option to attach an image here isn’t letting me access my photos, so hopefully my description is enough information!

@meesh_27
I assume this is a graph of the temperatures during that period. -
Apologies, the view is for the 3 hourly forecast and not 5 day.

@idefix37 thank you for your reply. I realised that I stated the incorrect screen view. It is for the 3 hourly forecast. I’ve been in North QLD (usually based in NSW) and during the cyclone it had much bigger peaks and troughs, so too many extremes to be temperature. It seemed to be related to rainfall, but that is perhaps also not the case as it’s often been a steeper incline when there is no rain…

Here is a screenshot of the view I am asking about.
Questions:
-
The row that displays the wind knots (in the image 5, 10, 6, 8, 12, 15, 15) has either no colour, green or blue. Where do I find the key for the colour meanings?
-
What does the blue wave mean, that has the numbers appearing along it (in the image 5, 3.7, 1.5, 9, 6)? Is it anticipated rain in mm and the wave increases as the rain forecast increases?

@meesh_27 Hello, I will do my best to help you with these:
- Forecasted wind speed (km/h, m/s,...) White color for low speed, more green --> higher values
- Forecasted precipitation, wave basically visualizes those hourly values and provide more info about detailed amount of precipitation during the time.
