The wind is from W (250-270°).

The map arrow is showing the wind direction ( -> ), the Widget is showing the angle from where it is blowing (

This is what I get for Pula airport. But on iOS.

I think the widget is updating each hour. So there can be a discrepancy with the weather station.

no. The wind turned to 100° now (17:00-17:30). I
refreshed the widget and this is the result:

Look at the arrow: toward E instead from E! And this the only arrow in the app showing the origin, not the direction.

Hope someone from the Windy can explain these discrepancies.

I'm sorry if I get something wrong here, struggling to read this.

So the map shows the wind direction as where they are going
And the weather stations show the direction as the way they are coming from?

Are you wanting them both to show the same thing?

EDIT: Quick Google search and I see the normal is to have the arrow showing where the wind is going to. (This is confusing me, I may be saying the wrong thing)

ANOTHER EDIT: My symbols all show the same way....

In Windy, like in all weather maps, the wind direction is shown in the direction where the wind is blowing to.
A South wind is blowing from the South (180°) TO the North, and so the arrow is pointing to the North.

Sorry if I i was not clear.
I Personally prefer arrow to show wind direction, but
the main problem here is the inconsistency between different views of the same application.

To show it better I found one station with strong wind: Termoli, Italy. ~32Kn from 300°

Look at the arrow in the Weather Station Widget: pointing to WNW!

                  1000014268.jpg !

At the same time on the weather map it isshowing as expected!

Tried on 2 Android phones and one tablet. Same result: The arrow in the widget, and only in this widget is rotated to opposite direction.

How to post this as a UI bug report?

I have moved your post to the Bug reports category.
It seems your issue is only observed on Android. I can’t see it with iOS device.

You are right. Iphone at the his last version from store (which is older than Android's) is working good, all Android units I tried have the same issue, all on the last version)

Installed the new available version 41.1.2. The error is still here.
Tried to force stop and clear the cache, reinstalled the widget, the arrow is still wrong on android, showing the origin, not the direction of the wind!
