Please don't drop the 'radar only' display ...

Please don't drop the 'radar only' display ... IMHO doing so is a backward step and limits user preferences.
Timing of radar output does not always match the satellite imagery, or vice versa, frequently leading to erratic jumpy sequences. Overlaying radar over satellite also makes it difficult to tell whether an area is genuinely free of precipitation, or whether it is the radar image that is not available. And there are other times when the radar output is dubious (anaprop particularly), when being able to examine radar alone is helpful.
May I suggest an easier way to manage this would be to retain the single display option, but with buttons to select 'satellite' and/or 'radar'. That way either or both displays could be easily selected/toggled as required, instead of only 'radar on or off' as currently implemented.

I don't think the removal of the weather radar layer is planned. So you can still have what you call ‘radar only’.

It has already been so difficult for users to understand that Radar+ was replaced by a button in the Satellite layer options, that I doubt your solution of bringing everything together in a single layer (using what name?) is so relevant. But that's just my point of view.

OK, thanks for your reply.
I understand if you are planning to keep 'Weather Radar' and 'Satellite' display options as they are (i.e. single function displays), and have the 'Radar + Satellite' option button on the 'Satellite' page as currently, then the deprecation of the 'Radar+' option makes perfect sense. As long as the two can still be displayed individually, as well as combined on occasion. then I have no further objections :-)
