I have tried to amend the values on the colour to put in a new range. Say from -5 to 40. I go through and amend the values and then click the apply button and the old values return to the table. The current scale is too broad. I would like to use a more focused scale.

You need to click on Save created color

Thanks for the response. What I had tried to do was to keep the existing colour range but change the temperature associated with each colour. As I said from -5 to 40. I input the changed values onto each colour and then pressed the saved created colour button which then reverted all the values to the default. So there does not appear to be a way to change the temperature range scale.

It is important also to click on "change value" for each temperature you change in the table.

I have used that button (change value) as well, but again it does not appear to work or hold the value that I insert in the box.
Are others able to change the range and values or is it just not working for me.

I confirm it works for me. What is your device and OS?

                  @Robertnh
Could also try the Import/Export method?

I think these are the default colours for Temperature:
                  [[203,[115,70,105,255]],
                  [218,[202,172,195,255]],
                  [233,[162,70,145,255]],
                  [248,[143,89,169,255]],
                  [258,[157,219,217,255]],
                  [265,[106,191,181,255]],
                  [269,[100,166,189,255]],
                  [273.15,[93,133,198,255]],
                  [274,[68,125,99,255]],
                  [283,[128,147,24,255]],
                  [294,[243,183,4,255]],
                  [303,[232,83,25,255]],
                  [320,[71,14,0,255]]]
The first number is temperature in Kelvin, the [###,###,###,255] is the RGB colour code I suspect.

If that works then there's an issue...if it doesn't work, there's an issue...but the information on whether it works or not and also what @idefix37 asked for would be helpful I'm sure.

You are right, the first number is the temperature in Kelvin and then the RGB color code.
I was thinking of proposing this workaround to @robertnh, or at least trying it out.
It is easier to copy the code and modify it in a text software. Then paste the new code in the window.

Thanks for the responses. Interesting that it works for some and others suggesting a work around. I am using the lastest model iPad.

@Robertnh I was successful in this values change on my end, however, I will test the same behavior on an iPad as well. Do you have downloaded the latest version of our app?

The best way is that you search in the forum the posts related to your question using key words.

I have managed to change the temperatures associated with the colour scale on my iPad. The solution appears to be to change the values in the table commencing from bottom of the table (high temps) to the top of the table (low temps). Save each number as you ascend the table then save complete table at the end. I found that if i did the same procedure but commencing at the top of the table (low temps) it would not save and adopt the new numbers.
