How to display saved KML or GPX route on ipad or mobile app?

Hi everyone, couldn't this answer on FAQ.
I have many routes saved in my Windy page on laptop, and I would love to be able to display it in the app on my ipad or iphone, is it even possible?
As a pilot I fly usually the same routes and it would be very handy to be able to load the saved routes previously uploaded from my laptop into Windy and open on my ipad or iphone app.

Hi,
The easiest way is to save them in your laptop as favorites, then they are available in your iPhone or iPad in your Favorites too. Of course your devices need to use the same account credentials.

@idefix37 This option saves the fresh created route to the device but do not load the ones already saved as favorites!

To load a saved route from the list of “My favorites”, just click on the one you want to select! -
@idefix37 Oddly my saved ones on the laptop does not appear in the app Favorites' list, by the way I'm using the same account in both devices!

That's really strange. Are your mobile devices displaying some of your favorites, or none at all? -
@idefix37 my ipad had 2 or 3 routes that I had saved localy, but none from the ones I uploaded using my laptop. Also the ones I have saved on my ipad didn't show on my laptop's list as well. So I think this favorite's lists doesn't sync.

All my routes are saved in "My Favorites" on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, even the most recent one, saved on December 27th. Synchronization is therefore possible. I don't understand why it's not working for you. -

@idefix37 thanks for your help. Hope windy developers can solve this issue and add a sync function to the code so the ones who uses the saved route over the map can have it on the app as well.

@luizjr4 Hello, I am not sure about the cause of this issue, however, I tested the behavior and it was completely okay.
- Open Windy.com favorite list on the desktop and mobile
- I added route to favs on my mobile
- Refresh Windy on the desktop and new route appeared immediately
What version of Windy do you use on your mobile/tablet?

@Suty Hi Suty, thanks for your reply, this way the route indeed appears on favorites but not the routes saved previously uploaded from a KML or GPX file.

Of course your routes saved as KML or GPX files are not directly displayed in your favorites.
You have first to load them in the Route planner on the device where they are stored and then to save them as favorites. -
@idefix37 I've never said my routes were saved in my favourites, I upload and load'em when I need it, in theory they're on windy' server somewhere. But there's no option to load those routes in the app! At least I didn't't find it.
Couldn't find the option to add the route as Favorite, maybe Windy's team could create an Fav icon next to the GPX uploaded file.

As I mentioned earlier, to make routes available on all devices linked to the same account, you need to save them as favorites. But if you prefer not to do it, that's your choice. -
@idefix37 how can I do that? It doesn't seem to be possible to load an GPX route and save as favorite.
