      hello team,

it would be great if the preferred weather prediction model could be set as default in the properties.

now i need to everytime change the model in the program.
maybe also the widget could be profit from this as well.

It seems this topic is old and hasn't been addressed. Thank you for considering my request.

      Thanks a lot

@sylvain-76 Hello, we are planning to offer this in 2026, there are some dependencies which must be done, but hopefully we will manage it.

          Hello,
I use Windy almost every day and usually only trust certain models depending on the region. Having to manually change the model every time I open the app is both time-consuming and increases the risk of errors. For professional users, the "default model" is not a minor convenience but a factor that directly impacts the reliability of their decisions.

Agreed. I tried Premium this year, and probably won't continue unless it has this capability. ECMWF doesn't work well in the west US.

@joecar It is difficult to recommend this, but I would prefer those local ones, such as HRRR and NAM.
