how to input or set ship's speed

Hello, I am a seaman using Windy for weather forecasts.
I am wondering how to set ship's speed upon departure a port.

Hi Capt’n,
You don't specify it, but I imagine you want to know the speed setting for the use of the Route planner (Distance & planning feature). You can set the average speed of the ship by turning on first the speed switch.
