KML files disappearing

Hello, whenever I use a KML file, it pulls it up properly but then goes away whenever I hit the X to get out of the "Display KML". I'm assuming this is happening because of an update? Can this be reverted or fixed so my work is not impacted?

Thank for your reply, i wish the time for next version is almost here, as this bug is very impactful and annoying
